#1 - ‘KIDSOS’ Sebastian Ingrosso [Refune Music]

The #1 Global Soundsystem track of 2009 is ‘Kidsos’ by Sebastian Ingrosso. Sebastian is part of the infamous Swedish House Mafia and is responsible for some of the biggest tracks of the year but none top this mammoth house tune.  Congratrulations and thanks for requesting your favourite track of 2009.

#2 - ‘HOLD THAT SUCKER DOWN’ Jerome Isma-Ae [Armada]

It seems you can’t hold this sucker down! This track has sat at the top of the charts for the past 5 weeks and makes its way into the top tunes of 2009 even though it was only released in December. Jerome Isma-Ae is definately an artist you will be hearing a lot from in 2010 on Global Soundsystem. Congratulations Jerome.

#3 - ‘THIS MOMENT’ Nic Chagall [High Contrast]

Nic Chagall is one of the finest producers on the planet. He is one half of the German trance outfit Cosmic Gate and has toured the world over for years working every corner of the globe. His solo work is incredible and ‘This Moment’ is nothing short of brilliance and features the vocals of Jonathon Mendelsohn.

#4 - ‘LIFT’ Pryda [Pryda Recordings]

Pryda is another production alias courtesy of Eric Prydz, the super house artist who has released some of the biggest Top 40 dance tunes that exist. Pryda explores the progressive side of house with an open air festival feel. ‘Lift’ was just one of the successful productions this year under the Pryda banner.  

#5 - ‘FACES’ Andy Moor & Ashley Wallbridge ft Meighan Nealon [Armada]

Representing the UK trance massive is Andy Moor and Ashleigh Wallbridge with this huge collaboration titled ‘Faces’. Featuring the very cool vocals of Meighan Nealon, the track made its way into download charts across the globe. Released on Ava Recordings, Andy Moor’s very own label, ‘Faces’ was one of the biggest on 2009.
